The Parental Gift of Self Esteem
One of the things that parents aim to achieve is to raise children who feel good about themselves and who can do the best they can in making their way through life. Helping their children build a sense of positive self-esteem is essential.
The Bellmore-Merrick CHSD and the Bellmore-Merrick CHSD SEPTA in cooperation with the Community Parent Center are hosting “The Parental Gift of High Self-Esteem presented by Nancy Silberman Zweibach, MA, PD. for parents.
Ms. Zweibach’s presentation, “The Parental Gift of High Self Esteem”, provides an opportunity for parents to learn what defines a person/child with high self esteem, the techniques for eliminating those processes that lower one's self esteem, while also learning those techniques that raise one's self esteem. Parents will also gain an understanding of how to create a climate of growth and achievement at home for both their children and themselves. Also helpful for parents, this seminar will help you understand what your child needs in order to become a self-fulfilled individual and what you can do to guide him/her along the path to success.
