Teen Driving Parent Workshops Long Island

Mission Statement

Our Mission:

The Mission of the Community Parent Center is to provide parents and families with education, resource information and the support they need to raise resilient children who are confident, non-violent and drug free.

The Parent Center's program, Driving in the Safe Lane, is funded by a grant from the Allstate Foundation. More American teenagers’ deaths are caused by vehicle accidents than any other cause, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At the Community Parent Center we are committed to taking a proactive approach to helping teen drivers stay safe.

The Community Parent Center also provides a wide range of workshops on a variety of other topics including: healthy lifestyles and activities, discipline, sibling rivalry, self esteem, peer pressure, communication, stress reduction and getting ready for middle school. The Center and its services are available to families with children grades Pre K-12.
