The Driving in the Safe Lane program is a model of a true school-community partnership involving the Parent Center; the schools; law enforcement; government and the medical and business communities.
Goals
The goals of our program are:
• To educate parents and teens about safety measures, New York State driving laws and parental liabilities.
• To raise awareness and develop responsible driving attitudes, thereby helping to reduce the number of driving related teen injuries and fatalities in our community.
